At Gardens Medical Group, we offer our patients a wide range of allied health services. We have a Child and Adolescent Psychologist, Social Workers and a Counsellor on staff who can provide support and assistance with a variety of mental and emotional illnesses. Our team members are highly skilled and experienced professionals who are committed to providing compassionate care to our patients.

We offer a confidential, safe, and supportive environment to explore your thoughts and feelings. We aim to help you understand your illness and develop coping strategies to manage your symptoms. Dietitian

At our medical centre, we have Rachel Melton, a dietitian, on our team who will help you navigate your dietetics and dietary needs. She works with us three a week, and appointments can be made through our reception staff. A referral is required for an appointment. Rachel works with each individual and helps form the best dietary plan specifically for you and your needs. Gardens Medical Group understands that everyone is different, and because of that, we want to ensure you’re getting the care you need to live a happy and healthy life.

Appointments under an EPC Care Plan referral will incur a small gap fee, but we believe: your health is worth the investment.

Diabetes Educators

People living with diabetes may lack the health tools and adequate information to manage their illness. This can be a difficult time, where you feel isolated and alone. That's why we offer up to date diabetes education and support, with our Allied Health Care Services.

We understand that living with diabetes can be difficult, and our goal is to help our patients manage their conditions and live healthy lives.

Our experienced Diabetes Educators, Marita Pille and Susan Martyn will work with you and your health care team to develop a custom plan that meets your needs. They will help you understand your condition and what you can do to manage it, including with any diabetes technology, in order to achieve your optimal health outcomes.

In addition, we have a Registered Nurse coordinating a Diabetes Program to provide additional support. These programs are designed to help our patients better manage their illnesses and improve their overall health.
